Recently, with a little help from a few of our friends, we showed off our new personalized plates, and how you can use them to make your own party supplies for any occasion. Click here to read the post if you missed it the first time around.
This week, we’re back on birthdays one hundred percent. Party expert and stylist Brittany Schwaigert of GreyGrey Designs has styled an entire party around our personalized plates! The guest of honor, four-year-old Emma, absolutely loved celebrating her birthday with this party theme – Brittany crafted and created a completely unique look featuring flowery décor and family photos of Emma herself.
Emma’s mom gave Brittany a photo of the birthday girl, and here’s the finished product! You can generate your own personalized party supplies right from our product pages, too. What better to serve up sweets than with a special photo of your sweetie? The full-bleed print goes right to the edge of the plate, so you can also enhance photo with text or cute overlays before uploading.
Here’s how Brittany put the personalized plates to work – by layering with floral plates and napkins (not to mention plenty of pink), it instantly becomes the perfect theme.
Say cheese! We’re not claiming that printed plates can be as adorable as the real thing. But, aside from acting as party supplies, they do make for some fun and funny photo ops, too!
As for the rest of the party theme, Brittany went full-on floral with the whole thing, and it looks absolutely amazing – these huge paper flowers are totally made from scratch! See the tutorial by Tania Fischer here. A little bit of scrapbook paper goes a long way.
Contrast is key! We’ve said it before, and so has Brittany – and combining all of these brightly colored flowered decorations with a black and white background was a gorgeous choice! The hot pink Emma letters are just wooden letter from the craft store, embellished with pink paint and black and white ribbons:
We can definitely see these having a happy home in Emma’s room for years!
Brittany’s choices for party food, snack ideas, and sweets were absolutely on point, too. These immaculately decorated chocolate Oreos (with teeny tiny frosting flowers!) are from Bella’s Bakery…
…and these cookies from SemiSweet Confections were nothing short of super sweet perfection.
