Go long! Football party supplies make for a perfect fall birthday theme, and with the NFL season currently in full swing, any football fan would love to celebrate his or her special day with our new Football Game Time party theme. Keep on reading to see our football party ideas!
All of these football party supplies, from the plates to the napkins, feature sleek and stylized football graphics created by our amazing in-house team of designers. The color scheme is a basic blue and white for the most part, but you can easily customize the look by adding the appropriate solid color party supplies to rep your child’s favorite team.
You can even personalize this party theme with your own photos uploaded from your computer and custom text. Check out our recent blog post to learn more about the personalization process and how to design your own party supplies.
Paper cups are boring, but these football cups are not. With realistic pigskin patterns and laces, they look almost like the real thing – please refrain from throwing them while filled. Aside from holding juice and soda, you can also use them to hand out (handoff?) portions of popcorn, pretzels, or other game day snacks.
We used some green tissue paper grass placemats on our table to help get the look of a football field, but another easy option is this football tablecover. Printed with a gridiron pattern, you could even use it as a fancy playing surface for some paper football. Pennants to overhang the edge of the table make a great finishing touch.
Of course, this is a football party, after all. If the weather is nice, then take these party supplies to the park and make it an outside birthday celebration! Don’t forget to bring the ball for some quick rounds of two-hand touch.
We must concede: we love concessions. Even if it’s not a real playing field, you can create your own birthday party concession stand with a DIY alphabet pennant banner and plenty of snacks and sports bottles.
Metal buckets are great way to show off snacks outside, and definitely durable enough to keep using for future parties as well. Get them in shiny silver, or get them in whatever shade you need to go with your color scheme.
Or, if you’re feeling a little craftier, wooden boxes this one can be used to display your football party refreshments. Hit up your local craft store or thrift shop to find something similar. Popcorn (complete with the classic red and white popcorn box), Cracker Jack, and candy are all there.
What could be more perfect for a football birthday party than a football birthday cake? To make ours, we just covered a regular round cake in chocolate frosting and added white fondant laces on the sides. Striped straws with paper cutouts form the pennants for our birthday boy’s name.
Football party favors will ensure that the guests go home happy! Our pre-filled boxes include plush footballs, football stickers, football whistles, and other fun stuff, but you can always stock some empty boxes with your child’s favorites too.
