If you’re thinking of throwing a John Deere themed party for your birthday boy, there’s no need to head out to real pasture to get the look (we just like to overdo it sometimes, that’s all). John Deere party supplies help transform any backyard into a barnyard!

To supplement the table scape, we used some small bales of straw (find them at your local craft store) to add some height, as well as some faux sunflowers.

That big birthday banner in the background really makes your son the center of attention on his special day! Combining it with personalized plates and John Deere cups and napkins makes it easy to achieve the perfect theme.

Layering together different shades of solid color party supplies is a simple yet effective way to make any birthday theme look that much better. Since John Deere is known for its iconic green and yellow style, we grabbed some green and yellow supplies to match! Try out some green and yellow party decorations, too.

Say goodbye to boring cone party hats – paper trucker hats are just as easy to fold together and assemble, and the kids are guaranteed to have a ton of fun with them. Plus, we think they’re a much more fitting style for a John Deere party theme, anyways. You can even use them as part of the party decorations, either hung from walls or placed on tables.

Serve lemonade or juice in Mason jars or glass bottles, with a twist of twine wrapped around the middle. You can use this to stylishly attach a striped straw as well.

Small metal buckets are a great way to give your table a little more style too. They’re available unpainted (a DIY-er’s dream) or in colors. Naturally, we chose green and yellow to display some gumballs and wrapped candies.

Every birthday party needs a platter of sweet treats! That’s not a stack of plain crispy rice treats, though, it’s a stack of hay bales! Use a classic red bandana as a fun way to serve.

You can also dress up some cupcakes with John Deere cupcake wrappers for a fun look. These cupcake kits include the tiny tractor toothpicks as well. Small tires (make sure they’re clean, of course!) topped with a basic paper plate make a great way to serve.

With another red bandana, or any other kind of cloth, line a wicker basket before filling it with your favorite popcorn. Also, as long as we’re being corny, these fun corn water squirter toys were too cute to ignore for a barnyard birthday theme. They make great party favors for the guests! Other great choices to consider: John Deere stickers and cuddly plush cows.
