We’ve taken quite a bit from our Mustache Man party packs to create this look – after all, these are some of the manliest party supplies around. Plates and napkins alike come covered in stylish ‘staches. You can even make your own cutouts of the images from the plates, to create some quick DIY decorations for the wall or anywhere else around the table.
Layer together some solid colors to build up a unique tablescape for your party. We’re using a lot of green here – lime green party supplies, specifically – as well as the tried and true black and white. Glimmerware can provide a little more substance than plain paper plates, and striped cupcake boxes can fit in fantastically.
Speaking of stripes and patterns, black and white dots party packs make a great addition to this theme, too. Polka dotted paper straws look lovely when served up with ice cold lemonade in a Mason jar mug, and a Mustache Man box makes the perfect container for all sorts of fun favors. Our suggestions? Mustache mints come in the most amazing little tin, and everyone can enjoy wearing some silly fake mustaches, too!
Our free printable gift tags are a necessity for any Father’s Day celebration. Print and affix to party favor boxes, or to the gifts themselves to add a nice DIY touch. We used mini clothespins from the craft store and a bow of black ribbon, but as long as you’ve got the gift wrap, you’re golden!
Just like our tags, printable table tents are another easy way to make the party even more special – you could say it’s a fun way of refreshing the refreshments table. For us, macaroons are just about the best cookie for the occasion, and big, soft pretzels are the perfect party snack! Be sure to use your favorites and make the party your own.
Here’s our finished Father’s Day tablescape! We added this giant hanging mustache decoration into the backdrop to tie everything together. It also comes with a selection of assorted paper mustache masquerade masks for the guests to have some fun with. Green fluffy tissue paper decorations and plastic derby hats make for great add-ons.
For dessert, there’s no beating a platter full of cupcakes! Ours are dressed with a generous dollop of delicious frosting and a slim scrap of black and white gingham fabric, with a printable DIY toothpick flag on top.
