- 2 pajama shirts
- 2 pajama pants
- 2 night caps
- 2 pairs of slippers
Who can get ready for bed the fastest? Divide the party guests into 2 separate teams. Place one of each item in suitcases or laundry baskets at the "start" line. (Have 1 basket for each team.) When you yell go, have the first child of each team start to put on the clothes. Once they have on all of the items, have them run to a designated area (use cones or some other kind of marker) and back. Once they get back they pass the clothes to the next child. As the first child removes the items, the next child puts them on. When all items are on, the process is repeated. The first team to have all of its members run the course wins.
Bedtime Buddy Craft
- Paper plates
- Construction paper
- Markers, crayons, other drawing supplies
Before the party, set up a craft area complete with markers, crayons, glitter and glue so the kids can make their own bedtime buddies! When all the guests have arrived, have them cut their favorite color of construction paper into the shape of their favorite animal’s ears. Glue the animal ears to the top front of the plate, and then have the kids draw animal faces on the back however they like. They could even cut circles out of black construction paper for the eyes and glue these onto the bottom of the plates. When they’re done cutting and drawing, they’ll have a brand new buddy!
Pin the Tail on the Pajanimal
- Pajanimals poster
- Paper hats (1 for each guest)
This classic birthday party game with a fun Pajanimals twist will surely bring joy to all the girls and boys! Buy or print a Pajanimals poster (or have your child draw their favorite Pajanimal beforehand!) and print out paper hats for each party guest. Have the children take turns trying to pin the hat on the Pajanimal blindfolded! The closest hat wins!
What’s in the Bagl
- Non-transparent bag
- Small plastic animals or other items
A great guessing game that you can make entirely age appropriate. Put several items in the bag. (They can be Pajanimals-related items like small plastic animals or anything else that will fit.) Let each child reach into the bag and choose an object. Without looking at the item, encourage him or her to feel it, roll it in their hands and imagine what it might be. Ask her to guess before pulling it out. As a prize, if she guesses correctly, she may keep the item.
