Monster Jam Mural
- wide sheet of butcher paper
Invite everyone to create a cool Monster Jam mural. Tape a wide sheet of butcher paper on the lower portion of your wall so kids can reach. Spread out picture samples of monster trucks for ideas (you can even use items from your Monster Jam party pack) And provide paints, markers, etc., for your budding mural artists (This is a perfect activity to keep kids entertained while other guests are arriving).
What Truck Am I?
- masking tape
- permanent marker
Start the party with a fun quest. Before guests arrive, write the names of the Monster Jam trucks* on strips of masking tape so each guest will have one. When guests arrive, attach a name to each kid's back. Players must then try to guess which truck is on his or her back by asking everyone else questions that can be answered with "yes" or "no." Kids will have a blast trying to guess what they are (*Look at the list of word search names on the back of your Party Pack placemats for Monster Jam truck names). It's a good idea to have a few extra names on hand for kids who guess their truck name faster than the others.
Monster Jam Hunt
- Monster Jam 3D stickers, snacks, and other theme-related items
It's always fun to hunt around for hidden prizes. Before the party, hide Monster Jam stickers, temporary tattoos, flame bandanas, snacks, etc. around the yard or in the party room. After the party begins, invite kids to find the prizes. Design the game so everyone wins by making sure to limit the amount kids can collect.
Monster Jam Piñata
Piñatas are always a hit at birthday parties. Treat everyone to a Monster Jam piñata that matches your child's party theme. Remember to add the piñata fillers, too.
Monster Jam Dirt Cake
Estimated Total Time: 30 minutes
- 1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
- 16-20 oz. package of Oreo® cookies
- ½ cup melted butter
- gummy candy bugs and worms
- 12 oz. whipped topping
- 8 oz. cream cheese
Monster Jam trucks are always ripping up the dirt, so what better cake to please your guests with than a dirt cake, topped with our Monster Jam cake topper. (No need to bake! ) Before the party, prepare pudding and refrigerate. Next, crush cookies (to look like dirt). Set aside a cupful. Pour melted butter over rest of crushed cookies. Press mixture into bottom of a pan to form a crust. Add a few gummy bugs and worms. Stir half of whipped topping and all of cream cheese together, then spoon on top of cookie layer. Take pudding, stir in a few gummies and spoon on top. Finish off with the rest of the crushed cookies, and chill.
Grave Digger® Mud Cones
Estimated Total Time: 25 minutes. Estimated cost for a party of 8: $18.
- chocolate instant pudding
- gummy worms
- ice cream cones
- oblong-shaped cookies
- thin-tipped tube of icing
Fans of the Monster Truck Grave Digger will die for this creepy, creative dessert. Before the party, prepare the pudding and refrigerate. Swirl in some gummy worms and spoon the mixture into the cones. Using the cookies as "gravestones", decorate the upper portion with the names of your guests (or ice with the words "Grave Digger Rules"). Insert gravestones partway into the pudding for an eerily fun treat.
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday Sipper
Estimated Total Time: 10 minutes
- 2 quarts of lemon-lime soda
- raspberry sherbet
- 1 can of frozen fruit punch, thawed
Get ready for some fizzy fun! At serving time, place raspberry sherbet in punch bowl (to cut down on splashes). Then add the fruit punch and lemon-lime soda – the punch will begin to fizz. Stir and serve inside Monster Jam Sports Bottles!
