LEGO Star Wars cake

- 12-Large marshmallows
- 2-Containers of creamy frosting
- Red, yellow and blue gel food colors
Supplies:
- Tray or cardboard (15x12") covered in aluminum foil.
- LEGO Star Wars figurines
Directions:
Follow the directions for a boxed cake mix for a 13x9 inch pan. While cake is baking separate the frosting into 4 bowls. 1 cup of will be for frosting which you will dye red. 1 cup will be for frosting which you will dye yellow. ½ cup will be for frosting which you will dye blue. 1 cup will not be dyed at all. Once your cake is out of the oven, refrigerate or freeze the cake for about an hour so it is firm. Cut off the dome of the cake so it is a flat surface. Turn cake upside down. Cut into 3 9x4(ish) pieces. Cut one of those people in half cross wise. You should now have 4 pieces of LEGOs. 2 rectangular and 2 square. Once your pieces are cut add a thin coat of frosting to each piece. (2 long pieces will be red and yellow, 2 short pieces will be blue and white). Refrigerate for 30 – 60 minutes to set frosting. After frosting is set, ad a final coat of frosting to each piece. Cut large marshmallows in half to make the pegs. 8 will go on the long pieces and 4 on the short to look like real LEGOs. Frost the pegs and place them on their corresponding colors. Place LEGO Star Wars figurines on and around the LEGOs. Store loosely covered until you are ready to eat.
