Pin the Tail on the Horse
Supplies:
- Construction paper
- Tape
- Blindfold
Draw and color a picture of a horse missing its tail on a large piece of construction paper. Tape to a flat surface; keep in mind the height of all players when hanging the poster. Using the construction paper cut stripes for the horse tails and write the name of each guest on the back of their tail. Blindfold the first player and spin them three times. Guide the player toward the poster. Repeat with each player. The person to get their tail closest to the correct spot wins a prize.
Gold Rush
Supplies:
- Tarp
- Hay
- Large outdoor area to play in
This is the perfect outdoor activity where everyone wins! Designate an open space in your yard and lay a tarp down. Place different prizes on the tarp and cover the entire top with hay. Have two guests at a time search for 1 prize in the hay.
Musical Ponies
Supplies:
- Enough chairs for each guest -1
- CD player/stereo
- Party music
A fun game that will get your party started, perfect for all ages! Take 1 less chairs than there are players and place them in a circle. Be sure to have enough space between each chair for walking. These chairs will act as the ponies. Turn on some fun party music and have all the players walk around the outside of the circle. Stop the music randomly and all the players will race for a chair. The player left without a pony leaves the game. Remove 1 chair and repeat. The last player wins a prize.
Western Freeze Dance
Supplies:
- CD player/stereo
- Party music
Have the kiddies strap on their cowboy boots and square dance! Turn on some fun party music and have them dance silly and crazy. Stop the music randomly and the players have to freeze. To help cue the smaller kids call out “Freeze” when you stop the music. The player that moves while the music is stopped is out. This continues until there is one player left. The winner receives a small prize.
