Title: Great for Treasure hunts!

We had a Dora and the Lost Treasure party and this was the treasure at the end of the hunt. The kids LOVED It. It held alot of candy and toys and didn't break too easily so all of the kids got a shot at hitting it. I liked that. My only complaint was that it was pushed in on the back end, not sure if due to storage at the warehouse or shipping. The kids didn't really notice so it was not a big deal, but I noticed, and I paid for it.

It is definatly small. My child was turning 7, so I realized it was too small for the occassion, once I received it. I tried to make it work, however once I filled it up with candy, the hook on the top broke, so we had to doctor it up, but we somehow made it work.

The fill hole was a bit hard to find and really small. Trying to put in pinata toys was a bit difficult. Then when we picked up the pinata to put the rope through the plastic loop attached on the top, the loop broke. I'm not sure what we are going to do to be able to hang this up now. What a bummer.

Title: The Crew Loved It!

Definitely served it's purpose. I liked that it was small and did not require too much candy. My husband reinforced it with those plastic tie things and it lasted through 2 rounds of 10 little kids and had to be broken by preteens. Kids wore an eye patch to make it more challenging. Loved it!

I got the kit to make it a string pinata and it was a big hit at my 5 y/o's pirate-themed party. Check out the measurements--it does seem on the small side, but I was able to stuff 11 goody bags in it without a problem.

I used this for my son's third birthday and it went great with our pirate theme. My only complaint is none of the older kids (ages 9) could even break it open. It took my husband hitting it three times with his baseball bat to get it to break.

I had read other reviews about this breaking after a few hits. We reinforced it with a chain and it worked beautifully! We started with a plastic bat and finally had to use a metal bat because it withstood so much! We also added some gold coins/jewels to the top and added a pirate sticker.
