Mine arrived opened (the plastic bubble removed from the cardboard) ... not sure if Customs got a bit jumpy or they just separated from bumping around in transit. Good enough, and they make sound which doesn't seem to be noted in the product description (seems to me that it's the right 'original' sound too). Good clean fun, two AAA batteries required.

When I was a kid in the 1970s, I loved Star Trek (and still do) and remember scouring the shelves of department store toy departments looking for one of these. I never did find one, but fortunately discovered this one for my son while ordering him a "Captain Kirk" costume last week. Great toy from the retro SciFi age! Thanks!

The original TV series phasers had a very distinctive sound and this Classic Phaser Gun toy duplicates that sound wonderfully. It's the main reason I bought this toy and I have not been disappointed!! I highly recommend this toy for collectors of Trek related memorabilia and those who just want a "blast" from the past!
