My son is 5'5". The pants were a little long, but the rest of the costume fit him well. It stayed in place and lasted through two hours of trick or treating. He received a lot of compliments.

Costumes do run smaller than size stated. This is a one size fits most. My husband is a medium sometimes a large in mens sizing. This costume 'just' fits him. The hat seems like it's sized for a child.
