Title: Much Better....It's a keeper

I previously bought the child xl costume for my daughter--who wears a size 16 in childrens clothing (i.e.old navy tops). It was way too small so I bought this adult costume in a size medium. It fits her great. An adult small might have been too small for her. The quality of fabric is good for a costume. There is not much room at the chest, but that's not a problem for her because she is a size 32A, if you're bigger it might not fit. The tights are very short, she is 4'10'' and they fit her a bit small..if you're taller you'll probably need to look for other ones. Overall, she is super happy with this costume....
