How to Decorate with Crepe & Lanterns

Tassel columns are a stand-out decoration that you can fully customize to match your party theme. Start by gathering your supplies. You’ll need several rolls of crepe (in your favorite colors), an embroidery ring (the bigger the hoop, the more crepe you’ll need) and a spool of grosgrain ribbon. Loosen the lock on your embroidery ring and remove the center. Drape pieces of the crepe paper around the inner ring, creating a streamer effect . Fit the outer ring around the inner ring, tighten the lock, and use the grosgrain ribbon to create a sturdy three-point hanger. Bundles of tulle-tied lanterns help to add even more whimsy (as well as additional vertical design elements) to your party area. Attach these easy DIY decorations anywhere you want a burst of color!
