The product was cheap, felt looking. It did add to the overall effect of the costume (also bought robe). Would have liked it to be better quality.

The scarf is more purple than maroon. Doesn't match the HP robe at all; in fact, they look tacky together. My daughter didn't even wear the scarf since it looked so strange. The quality of the scarf isn't bad though.

Title: Harry Potter Gryffindor Scarf

I can't say that either my daughter or I are thrilled with this scarf. The scarf colors are wrong - they're not gold and burgandy like the description states, they are really gold and purple - seriously, there is no way to get burgandy out of this purple. It's very obvious against the Gryffindor tie and the robe, too. These are definitely going back.
Also, the scarf is a tube - the dyes do not go all the way through the material, so every time a fringe flips over or you see up the tube of fabric, it shows REALLY white. If you use this scarf, I recommend you sew the two ends shut.

This scarf is not worth the money. First of all, it doesn't match the tie and secondly, it seems to only be one-sided. And because it would cost almost as much to return it for a refund, I can't even get my money back. I would end up only getting about $3 back after all was said and done.

My daughter was so excited to get this. But the color is all wrong!! It is supposed to be crimson and yellow, but instead it is purple and yellow. What a waste of money.

Well it's advertised as a "Griffindor" scarf, but it is not Griffindor colors. Instead of the expected burgundy and gold, it looks more like navy and gold.

Title: it will do in a pinch

This was not quite what I expected. But it is the cheaper one so I got what I paid for. It is made out of a felt like fabric. The color is purple and gold. Which are not really Gryfinndor colors. It doesn't really match the lining of the robe. But it will do. I printed the Gryffindor crest on a fabric transfer and added it to the scarf. That made the kids happy.

The colors of this scarf are not true to what you'd expect from a product representing Griffindor. Instead of a deep red and gold, it is more purple. We were very disappointed since it was a part of birthday present for our very serious "Harry Potter" fan.

This was a perfect addition to my son's Harry Potter costume set. He loved it and got many compliments on it. The scarf is made well and can endure many washings/extended wear.
