Even the firemen at the local station liked them. They tried the hats on as well, and it really made the kids feel like they belonged at the fire station. However, the hats were a bit big for the kids' heads and are made of really thin material, so they could easily get lost in the wind.

I bought these hats instead of party hats for my sons 4th birthday party. They were a hit. All the kids (boys and girls) never took them off and my son and daughter still are wearing them. They seem to be good enough quality to withstand 3 months of playing roughly.
