I am truly disappointed in this purchase. The quality of the costume is definitely lacking. The material is flimsy. It was also misleading, as there were no alternate views of the costume at check-out, because the octopus legs/arms do not go all the way around the waist. The neckline closing is held together by 2 small velcro attachments, so undergarments are clearly visible through the space in between the velcro closings. I think my costume may also have been irregular as the purple fringe on the top is visibly angled, the front legs were also not lined up evenly as shown in the picture. The purple skirt was more like a sloppy petticoat, that hangs down and falls, as it also only had a velcro closing. If I would have had the time to find something else and patience to return this, I definitely would have, but my daughter, my little mermaid would have been disappointed. I regret this purchase, and consider it money wasted :( Warnings to the next!!!
