Ok I ordered the dress in a 2x I am 5'6 I wear an XL in shirts to a large and pants size 18 so a size up was great but the arms was a little loose the petti coat way to long and big but I altered it and it was a hit this dress is prefect and jazzy you cant go worng but its a gamble on the size.

The costume came in plenty of time (last minute idea and thankfully speedy shipping). I read the other reveiws about the arms being tight so I ordered a size larger. It was a great idea. The arms DO run small. The petticoat skirt seemed to be too big until I discovered you had to tie the top portion to fit you, then it fit great :) I did not put the piping in the skirt to make the hoop skirt as it was an office costume party and comfort was chosen over fashion. (sleeves and dip was a little tricky) I got a lot of compliments on the outfit and am very pleased with the over all look.
