Title: Cute, but huge and oddly constructed

I bought these cups in both pink and blue as favors to match the "Boy's Lil' Cupcake 1st Birthday" partyware we bought for our son's first birthday. I was expecting them to be roughly the size of a kid's sippy cup. Instead, they are HUGE - larger than an adult coffee mug (photo 1). I was also unimpressed with how the cup went together. I thought the "icing" part of the cupcake would screw onto the base. Instead, the base is sort of a bottle and the icing just slides on top without securing in any way (photo 2). Fill the cup with water and the whole base falls right out if you try and pick it up by the top. Not a great design for kids (or a stressed out mother who is preparing for a party and not knowing this, makes a giant splattery mess right before the guests arrive.) All in all, these cups were adorable to look at but not real practical to use. They'd be better decorations than anything else.
