Title: Great Costume Accessory or Toy

My 4 year old son loves this. The handle shaft is plastic the handle & hooks are foam witch i like better than if it were all plastic, they should write that in the description. The rope as you can see from the picture is rather thin. I haven't decided if that is good or bad. The loop on the bottom of the handle (foam) broke off in the first 5 min. my son played with it, but he's ruff. Because of the finger grips on the handle you can easily tie the string on to the bottom of the handle w/o it slipping off.

Title: Good accessory

My son loves this accessory for his batman costume. Only problem is that the loop for the string broke within seconds of opening the box. We superglued back together and it has held so far. Overall he loves it, but as a parent wish it was better quality.

Title: Do not use for grappling

I tried to pop a balloon with it and it snapped in half, making plastic shards fly everywhere. But it was cheap enough and I could use the sharp plastic shards to pop the balloon afterwards.
